    出刃包丁(Deba Hocho)
    is one of the Japanese traditional knife.
    We call it Deba-Bouchou or just Deba.
    Originally, this is for fishes but nowadays this is used to cut meats.
    The blade lengths is from 15 cm to 50 cm.
    20 cm is an average.
    The lengths is better to be fit to the fish or meat size.
    This knife has a heavy weight because the weight can cut bones easily.
    The history is at least before EDO era but no detailed evidence are there.
